Entering the bathing area is like stepping into another world, nature's sanctuary where the mind and body are calmed by the steam, soothing aroma, the sound of the nearby flowing river and sweeping views of the surrounding Southern Alps.
Important: As part of the bathing area redevelopment upgrades where our objective is to become a World Class Hot Springs destination we are repairing and upgrading the plumbing infrastructure in our outdoor bathing area between Tuesday October 25th and Friday October 28th and between Monday 31st October and Friday November 4th. During these days we will operate the two indoor bathhouse pools with the outdoor pools closed between 8.30am and 6pm while infrastructural works are undertaken. The outdoor pool area will open again between 6pm and 8.30am so guests can enjoy the outdoor bathing experience. During the weekends both indoor and outdoor pools will be available. Bathing and accommodation discounts will apply during this period of disruption. Furthermore we are confident we can still deliver a true Maruia Hot Springs experience, particularly to our overnight guests. This is a great time for people to experience pure New Zealand hot springs bathing at a discounted rate.
